PAMA OFFICIALLY OPENS "BULAN K3 NASIONAL 2026": STRENGTHENING SYSTEMS, SUPERVISION, AND SAFETY CULTURE

PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) has officially launched its series of activities for the Bulan K3 Nasional 2026. This event serves as a strategic momentum for PAMA to reaffirm the company's commitment to establishing occupational safety and health as the core foundation for achieving operational excellence and mining business sustainability.
PAMA's management emphasized the importance of strengthening system implementation as a sustainable preventive measure. Consequently, PAMA has established three primary focus areas for the execution of the Bulan K3 Nasional 2026:
Improving System Implementation: PAMA stresses that all management systems must be applied consistently, well-documented, evaluated for effectiveness, and oriented toward tangible results. Hazard identification and risk control processes must be executed proactively and effectively. Furthermore, every safety standard and procedure must be tangibly implemented in the field, coupled with systematic corrective follow-ups for any deviations.
Strengthening the Role of Supervisors: Supervisors serve as the frontline in ensuring that all mining activities comply with technical principles, operational standards, and safety standards. To achieve this, supervisors are required to possess adequate technical and leadership competencies, have the courage to halt unsafe work, foster effective two-way communication with workers, and consistently conduct inspections, examinations, and feasibility tests on mining facilities, infrastructure, installations, and equipment.
Enhancing Safety Culture: A strong safety culture is reflected in procedural compliance driven by awareness, rather than coercion. Every individual at PAMA is expected to hold a sense of responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others. This is supported by the leadership's consistency in enforcing safety regulations and implementing good mining practices, alongside cultivating an open environment where unsafe conditions can be reported without fear.
Commitment to Operational Excellence and Sustainability
Safety is the fundamental pillar in achieving operational excellence and business sustainability. Operational excellence is not solely measured by productivity and cost efficiency; it must also go hand-in-hand with the superior implementation of occupational safety and health.
The execution of the 2026 National OSH Month at PAMA aligns with the policies and directives of the Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of Manpower and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in accordance with the theme of the 2026 National OSH Month. Through this momentum, PAMA is committed to continuously strengthening its systems, elevating the quality of supervision, and nurturing a solid and sustainable safety culture across all of the company's operational areas.
