PAMA Inaugurates Rasan Kite Mandiri MSME Gallery, Embracing Post-Mining Economic Independence in Muara Enim

PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting the welfare of the communities in its operational areas. As a tangible step toward welcoming community economic independence in the post-mining era, PAMA officially opened the Rasan Kite Mandiri MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Gallery. The inauguration ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Muara Enim Regency, and was attended by the Deputy Regent of Muara Enim, Ir. Hj. Sumarni, M.Si., along with PAMA's management team. This gallery is designed as a marketing center as well as an integrated showroom for various local products created by MSMEs fostered by the company. This strategic initiative stems from the awareness that the mining sector relies on natural resources with a limited lifespan. Therefore, an economic foundation must be built early on so that the surrounding communities do not rely entirely on mining activities, but rather possess an independent economic ecosystem that continues to grow sustainably. In its implementation, this program is facilitated by the Rasan Kite Mandiri Cooperative, which has been appointed as a Business Development Institution (Lembaga Pengembangan Bisnis or LPB). To ensure optimal product quality and competitiveness, PAMA also partnered with PT Tri Putra Iga Konsultama. Through this collaboration, local business players receive intensive mentoring, managerial training, and business coaching. The positive impact of this independence program has reached a wide audience. To date, a total of 131 MSMEs across the Lawang Kidul, Muara Enim, and Tanjung Agung areas have routinely received coaching. The presence of the Rasan Kite Mandiri MSME Gallery is expected not only to ease market expansion access for local products but also to serve as an initial stepping stone in creating an independent, resilient, and highly competitive non-mining economic ecosystem for the future welfare of the Muara Enim community.
