A Manifestation of PAMA's Commitment to Accelerating Education: The Third Batch Graduation of SMK Maharati and Electrification Program

KAPUAS, May 8, 2026 – PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), together with PT Tuah Turangga Agung through the Bina Harati PAMA Foundation, has once again reaffirmed its commitment to advancing education in remote areas. This was manifested through the third batch graduation ceremony of SMK Maharati (Maharati Vocational High School) in Buhut Jaya Village, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. This year, SMK Maharati successfully graduated 79 outstanding students, consisting of 51 students from the Heavy Equipment Engineering (TAB) major and 28 students from the Visual Communication Design (DKV) major. This graduation figure, which marks a 54% increase from the first batch, represents a high level of public trust. The President Director of PAMA, Hendra Hutahean, emphasized that education is a shared responsibility that demands continuous collaboration among corporations, the government, and the community. To optimize the absorption of its graduates, the management implements the "BMW" development strategy, which stands for Bekerja (Working), Melanjutkan Pendidikan (Continuing Education), and Wirausaha (Entrepreneurship). Through this comprehensive preparation, graduates are equipped to enter the industrial sector, pursue higher education, or create new job opportunities. The graduation event was also held in conjunction with a groundbreaking procession for the electrification program at SMK Maharati. PAMA Director and President Director of Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), Chynthia Theresa AM, explained that this initiative aims to create a more conducive learning environment. Furthermore, this electrification program aligns with the company's sustainability commitment to driving fuel consumption efficiency across the PAMA Group.
