Occupational Health and Safety

Occupational Health and Safety (“OHS”) is a very important aspect considering that Company is engaged in high-risk mining. Various mining safety programs have been implemented to ensure and protect all employees so that they can work in a healthy and safe manner allowing them to achieve productive, effective and efficient results. Ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is Company's main focus in 2021. In addition to being committed to realizing Zero Fatality, Company is committed to preventing spread of COVID-19 by implementing various policies, implementation and monitoring in workplace. This is a form of awareness of high risk of exposure to COVID-19 in workplace.

Company has a great commitment to protect all employees and partners to avoid COVID-19. Implementation of very strict health protocols has been carried out during COVID-19 pandemic. Regarding OHS, Company campaigns for “6M” program in all operational areas and limits employees who are at high risk to avoid being exposed to virus. This is done so that all remain healthy and have high immunity so as to reduce COVID-19 spread risks.

Strategy for implementing social responsibility programs is contained in Public Contribution Strategy, which is part of Triple-P (Portfolio, People, Public Contribution) Roadmap sustainability strategy which is made for a period of three years and reviewed once a year. Strategies include:

• Ensure that all occupational safety hazards and risks are managed effectively to create a safe workplace in order to prevent hazardous events, injury and death to people, prevent property damage and stop production.
• Ensure that all occupational health hazards and risks and work environment are managed effectively to prevent occupational diseases, prevent occupational incidents related to diseases and create a healthy workplace.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, internal standards and other requirements.
• Support employee involvement (participation and consultation) in OHS aspects, Operational Safety and Environment in all work locations.
• Ensure that system and maintenance and feasibility of facilities, infrastructure, installations, equipment are implemented.
• Ensure that installation security is managed effectively.
• Ensure that competence of technical personnel is met and in accordance with statutory regulations.
• Evaluate technical study reports.
• Make efforts to prevent and control drugs and HIV/AIDS.
• Consistently improve satisfaction of all stakeholders.
