Sustainable Community Development Program
Improving the quality of education in Indonesia is a significant responsibility that cannot be achieved by one party alone. All components of society must work together because every child, without exception, has the right to receive proper education. In order to improve the quality of education in remote areas, the Company, together with PT Tuah Turangga Agung, established a vocational school (SMK) for heavy equipment and multimedia engineering. This SMK is named SMK Maharati.
The Company is focused on improving the quality of education in schools, enhancing students' abilities to achieve their best potential. The Company is actively involved in school fostering programs, including those aimed at assisting government initiatives to advance the nation's education. The Company also focuses on Early Childhood Education (PAUD) and Vocational High Schools (SMK). Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a crucial role in establishing a strong educational foundation, nurturing intelligence, developing talents and skills, and preparing children for further stages of education. Meanwhile, vocational education in SMK is designed to prepare students to develop technical skills and competencies for entering the workforce. In an effort to raise awareness of road safety among all road users, the Company conducts the 'Indonesia Ayo Aman Berlalu Lintas' (IAABL) campaign, which aims to encourage the younger generation to become advocates of traffic safety. This campaign also aims to promote traffic security, safety, order, and smooth traffic flow. Additionally, the Anti-Drug Awareness program aims to combat drug abuse among students. Substance abuse is often due, in part, to a lack of communication, information, and education about the dangers of drug abuse, psychotropic substances, and other addictive substances.
