PAMA HOLDS A BLOOD DONATION DRIVE AS PART OF NATIONAL K3 MONTH, TARGETING 100 BAGS OF BLOOD 🩸

JAKARTA (29/01)PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) organized a blood donation drive as part of the 2026 National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Month series of activities. The initiative aimed to collect 100 bags of blood and received a positive response from employees, with 150 registrants demonstrating strong enthusiasm to participate.

The blood donation activity represents PAMA’s tangible commitment to implementing the Health aspect of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) while also strengthening the company’s social contribution. The high level of employee participation reflects a culture of care and shared awareness that safety and health practices are not only applied in the workplace but also create a direct positive impact on the wider community.

The initiative is particularly relevant given the high demand for blood in the DKI Jakarta region, including East Jakarta. The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of DKI Jakarta recorded that blood demand in Jakarta can reach 1,000–1,200 bags per day to meet the needs of hospitals and healthcare facilities, making corporate participation an important support for maintaining blood availability.

A representative of PMI East Jakarta expressed appreciation for PAMA’s contribution through the blood donation activity.

“Blood demand in East Jakarta and surrounding areas is continuous. Active participation from the private sector, such as PAMA’s initiative, plays an important role in maintaining the availability of blood supplies for patients in need,” the representative stated.

A representative of PAMA’s management conveyed that the activity forms part of the company’s commitment to building a comprehensive and sustainable K3 culture. The blood donation drive is not only part of the National K3 Month agenda, but also reflects the compassion and spirit of sharing among PAMA employees. The employees’ enthusiasm demonstrates that PAMA’s K3 culture encompasses safety, health, and social responsibility, delivering tangible benefits to the community.

The blood donation drive was carried out in collaboration with PMI and professional medical personnel, with strict health screening procedures to ensure the safety and quality of the collected blood. In line with the theme of the 2026 National K3 Month, which emphasizes strengthening K3 culture to support productivity and sustainability, PAMA continues to encourage active participation from all employees in creating a safe, healthy work environment that also contributes positively to society.
